Strangers in a strange land. That’s the name of an Iron Maiden song, isn’t it? I have a friend who likes Iron Maiden, not a good friend, obviously ;) Ho-ho, only joking, Maiden fans.
In this first episode your two hosts, practical strangers at this point, detail the somewhat hurried, and for one of the hosts, rather traumatic, inception of the show.
Giving brief details of their own interests, the hosts each outline what they think they might bring to the show, and discuss format and possible content whilst making it abundantly clear that they really have no idea what they’re doing or what future directions the show might take.
The episode closes with an explanation of the Value For Value model and the many ways in which listeners can contribute to and get involved with the show.
We know that it can only get better from here on out and we hope you enjoy our first episode. Please get in touch with your feedback and we’ll see you next week – thanks for listening!
